Four basic things I picked up that I will have to get sorted
1. Pulling to the left: take it for comlete front suspension check uot at a "wheel" dealer tha KNOWS about 4x4 [meeste van die arme drommel stomme mense ken net platkarre .. en verfoei meer as wat hulle REGmaak

2. 5th gear schratches a bit (but only when car is warm??) (i) Check oil level in g/box AND check condition of said oil .. rtaher replace [ek glo nie aan daai sintetiese olie in NISSAN Ratkaste nie - gee nie om wie wat se nie .. GL 4 .. ratkasolie en nikas anners nie

3. Electrical windows not all working [open up - clean with ELECTRO Cleen & then treat with silicon olie - [WYNFLON or similar]

4. Have to connect the Snorkel as the deul battey system installed calls for the Snorkel to be re-routed. ???????? sur yu c'n fix that one self ??

NOU -- gaan was daai bus en kom plak kiekies :gotpics: :gotpics: :gotpics:

Dirk, on my car the second battery is placed further back, behind the radiator overflow tank, which leaves room for the standard air supply arrangement (and thus connects with the snorkel). From your picture, there appears to be something else on yours though, any idea what it is and how difficult it would be to move?

I expect your current system to have a significant impact on fuel consumption and power, particularly in low-speed off-road work, as it is breathing the hot air straight off the exhaust?

I am unfortanetly not mechanically inclined at all  , so to be honest most of it is greek to me when opening the bonnet....

I think I will be able to move the battery back another few inches and then be able to fit an extension piece of pipe to connect the Snorkel if not, well then it is off to pay somebody else to make a plan for me

Will have to make a plan to meet some of you guys very soon to get some tips and feedback on the vehicle as this usualy is the best way to go.

Then look for someone who knows Patro's in Krugersdorp as I dont like taking a vehicle to just anybody to work on.

Ek dink agter die battery is die voorste locker se pomp - dis hoekom hy nie so ver terug kan skuif nie.
