Koos, on which site did you get the photographs of the 2011 Defender?

Hi Francois,sorry man I dont have it off hand, but I googled new defender 2011 to see what changes will happen and found this article re. the new defender.The current shape will be discontinued in 2011/13 , cause of 1st world safety standards, they will not be able to sell any to these countries.(airbags,side impact, roll over ect)
I have recently had the pleasure of driving the latest Defender for a weekend, its the best engine/gearbox marriage of any manual 4wd I have ever driven (6spd). The one gear takes over from the other , nearly like an auto. And it pulls like a train.

Hi Koos, thank you for replying. I have Googled myself senseless, but can't find anything on the 2011 model Defender, especially not the photographs you have.

Maybe its been taken down or I'm just not savvy enough to get it right!

Can't decide if it is good looking or ugly.
Read on the Aus Patrol forum that Nissan may just be surprising us by keeping the GU like they've done with the D22 Hardbody.
Hope the rumour is true because this one will most probably have IFS.

I saw the new Nissan Patrol today, it`s currently undergoing tests in Dubai. It was too fast to get a frontal picture. It`s rumoured to have the Armada/Titans V8 5.6 all aliminium engine and tiptronic box, what i could see from the suspension is definately not solid axles anymore but independant all round probably used the Nissan Armada`s platform.
