Hi Kagiso II,
Ek is die eienaar van "Swartbooisdrift River Camp" en is regtig teleurgesteld dat julle nie warm water gehad het toe julle daar was nie. Kan jy asb vir my `n aanduiding gee wanneer dit was? Daar is hope mopanie aangery, en dis regtig vir my onaanvaarbaar, aangesien daar drie mense is wat veronderstel is om te sorg dat alles reg loop.

Great trip report. We have done a trip very similar to that in 2009 but we did not find the Van Zyl's camp that you mention. Where is that camp?

Hi Overdrive.
The campsite is situated 20kms before the Pass, near the village of Otjihende, just off the main through-route from nearby Otjitanda. An absolutely stunning spot, the sites are built alongside a sandy river bed. Three large sites are available with private ablution blocks (flush toilet, hot shower, wash basin and mirror) and braai areas. We saw what looked like a little shop on our left hand side. We stopped and had to wait a few minutes before the 'manager' appeared. We bought a few cold ones and he then guided us through a dry river bed to the camping site which is a few hundred meters away from the main road to the pass
