At this rate your conversion is going to be finished before mine! It has now been 4 MONTHS and he just added ANOTHER WEEK! I am so f..king frustrated I can french-kiss a pufadder!!!

Ok finally back from Singapore.
Went around to the workshop to see what was happening with the project.
These adapters from Aus are excellent. A work of art!!!! :lol:
Check this out. It uses the original Patrol clutch fork and hydraulics.

Now next step is to order the alternator, AC and power steering kit from the States. It comes with all the pulleys belts compressor alternator and tensioners.
I will probably get it sent down to my hotel in New Orleans to bring back with me next week.
At the moment the engine mounts are being manufactured, then the Engine goes into place.
Will see on Wednesday how things are progressing. :clap: :clap:

Jaaaaaa Swaer ... I see the El Camino [UTE] cum Holden Bakkie - that Lupini 'warmed up' a bit can do 0 - 100 in 4,5 sec ..

Ok took all the accessories down to the shop today and spent some time mounting them on the engine. They really make it easy for the guys in the States. :rolling: :rolling:
Everything is marked and numbered. Took me less than an hour to put it all on the engine.

Next stage is to get the engine mounts back. We are going to use the original Nissan mounts, just having them remoulded and made stronger. In the meantime the brackets on the chasis need to be cut off so they can be relocated. Hopefully Friday the engine can go into position so that the brackets can be positioned and welded. Will be popping in there on Friday again. :biggrin:
