Uhmm, Beast, I thought the 3 Provinces gathering was for all Patrollers and not just a Gauteng do? :naughty:

Anyway, 5 of the names on the list are from ZULULAND, so you Gauties have some way to go to get to 30 for 3 Provinces...

:naughty:  No I did not mean from Gauteng. What the lists on the page shows is that there are two teams, ie the Westrn Cape guys are on the same day doing something and then our group up here witch is named wrong, maybe. We can call it the central group, which includes KZN-- GAUTENG--Mpumalanga--North West-- Free State etc. The venue is well situated for all of these, so what we are pleading for is that we get more cars for this event. We also, just for interest need more cars for the AAWDC Family day and the Patrol guys are not supporting. The Cruiser club is organising this event this year, so they are not partaking, but last year they had a full team of 10 vehicles. I have always heard the tough talk of Patrol drivers, and now I dont see it. Come on guys lets show them how good these vehicles are---- or are the vehicles tough, but not the drivers??????? To have only 4 Patrols out of 10 for the Family day and only 25 for the central area for the anniversary, I think is poor. :helpsign: :helpsign: :helpsign: :woo: :woo:

Beast while I would dearly like to have a 100 patrols on hand on the 24th, I feel that the nearly 40 members we have managed to scrape together is a pretty good acheivement, if you consider the following:

1) On this forum, there are only about 100 members who have posted more than 10 times.
2) Of those 100, a substantial number do not own patrols
3) Of the remainder, a number do not live in SA
4) Included in this are also a number of guys who have probably dropped off the forum, or have not visited the forum for quite a long time.

I therefore estimate that there are only about 60-80 actual active forum members who could attend, and who would be elligible.

So personally I feel that if we really can get 40 cars to attend the two events, that would be a fine effort. :salute:

But don't stop canvassing guys
