Michael, the bushing set does that include the cam bushes or is it just big ends and mains?

I actually don't know, I got the part number from Nissan Centurion when I got a quote from them on mains and big ends. I think if you phone any Nassan dealership with the part number they will be able to tell you.

Just check your gudgeon pin sizes..... There are 2 sizes, can't remember exactly the 2 sizes but I think one is 30mm and the other is 28mm. I think Michael and myself chatted about this on his motor when I was at his place a few weeks back. The smaller ( 28mm) gudgeon pin will need bigger bushings to get it to match the piston gudgeon size, or the piston must match the conrods gudgeon size.
I was lucky that mine were already the bigger size, so had no problems.

Anytime.... I'm just glad that I can help, as there isn't too much info out there in SA, other than here on this forum.
I learnt a LOT from Frans, and he gave me the courage to tackle my rebuild even with him being 1000 odd Km away from me !!

Jip, I'm going to rebuilt the motor every step of the way now with the engineer so as to double check him and to doublecheck myself. I really hope that things work out this time. Cos another rebuild will break my bank completely!! Thanx michael seeing that I'm forcing the engineer to resleeve with a sleeve protrusion I might not need the shimstock. Now the question arises how is that sleeve supposed to look with the protrusion??

Much like the pic on page 11, just that the sleeves have a slight bevel on the ID and OD

Dankie Cedric! Is daar dalk enige van julle manne wat naby ou church str in pretoria is, eks opsoek na iemand wat vir my na die stel pistons te gaan kyk om seker te maak dis alfin en keystone. Ek wil nou nie onnodig brandstof uitry nie!
