ARE WE SCARED? The AAWDC family day in August is being arranged on behalf of the AAWDC at Rust DeWinter. We have spoken to Nissan and the will pay the entry fees. Our problem is that we only have 2 participants and we need 10. I have entered my Patrol and am challenging other Patrol owners to enter. Lets in the spirit of the 60 th make the team , a Patrol team and at least show the other clubs we have machines. Come guys lets enter. Herrie is handeling the registrations on behalf of the Nissan 4x4 club, so contact him. PLEASE PLEASE help.

Beast, Christo can you give us a bit more info please?

What is involved, dates and extent of the sponsorship? Or at least extent of the unsponsored costs?

Thanks

Regarding the AAWDC s family day and those wanting to participate and the accomodation is a problem, I think I have an answer. We, me and the wife were also considering not taking part as we dont camp anymore. Have a few T Shirts to show we have done this in the past. So I managed to find a place, some 15 kilos from the venue. The details are as follows:

Wagon Drift Lodge
Tel 012 735 9900
e mail ; info@wagondrift.co.za
price for two nights I have got it at R 1300.00 which includes two people, two suppers , two breakfasts and a lux room. This means we can go to the track on the morning and not worry about supper and all thos other issues. Try them. It is more expensive for a single night.

Hi Guys

Better late than never...have not been following this thread affidly so needs to first read through the entire story....all 15 pages of it! Sounds like something I would like to be part of, I have a few friends outside this forum with Patrols as well from the Eastern Cape...what can we do to join in on the fun and where would be the best location to partake in this??? I would also like some detail on AAWDC Family Day event...would considering taking part but what does it entail?

Will the main organiser give me a call (078 458 7790) to explain all plans around the entire 60th event or alternatively send contact details so I can call him.

Langman

The AAWDC event is at Rust de Winter - north of Pretoria on 13 August - and the 60th Birthday event will be at 3 Provinces Adventure near Volksrust and the guys in the Cape are organizing the event at Atlantis Dunes on the 24 of September.

Where do you guys from the Eastern Cape want to join us?
