thanks for checking ricster, luckily I have a neighbor that works for Denel and he phoned me last night with good news. He got me some Stainless shim stock 0.08mm FOC so will probably get it from him this after noon.

excellent !! ... Just make sure that the sleeves are not protruding more than 0.01mm if you use that 0.08 shimstock. The max tolerance is 0.09mm

Andre, I just got some prices back from my aunt at Nissan this morning. All parts are original new genuine Nissan parts

Head gasket 1.20mm or 1.25mm R920
Head bolts for a set of 26 R867
Pistons (standard Nissan) R658 ea
Rings standard for a set R1855
Bushing set (think its the mains and big ends, but not sure part number is 12207WJ10B if someone wants to check) R564
Gasket kit (all gaskets on engine and cylinder head excluding head gasket and rear main oil seal. includes injector washers and valve stem seals) R1790
Cylinder Head new R7123

I am placing an order Tomorrow so let me know if you or anyone else want to order some of these.

thanks ricster, yes my block is skimmed completely flat so it should work

Michael, how does she manage those prices jo! With that its possible to buy oe instead of pongkong. But tell me are the pistons on the turbo model vin?

Cedric do you only have the extra set of rings or 2 pistons as well?

Unfortunately the pistons are the ones for the NA engine, just put the prices out there if anyone else would be interested.

Andre, the pistons were bought separately or per piston and not in a set of 4 or 6, so i don't have any spare pistons. The rings I have are from Japan.... so quite pleased that they aren't phongkong specials....haha. From what I've read Riken are a good brand

Ah ha nogal thought thats why she could manage such awesome prices. Cedric RIk rings are amongst the top,good stuff hey! Michael if I were interested how would something like that work?

Andre, if you were interested in anything you will have to pay me in advance because I will have to pay her before the order can be placed.
Once I have done the payment to het it takes about 3 - 5 days for me to get the parts.
