It's almost ready.
I was supposed to pick it up today, but the guys had a breakdown at Coca-Cola so it was all hands on deck.
They've just got a little more of polishing to do so I'll have it early Tuesday morning.
Can't wait to be able to drive the troll around !

Great job so far Dustin
Just one thing that I learned recently, your bonnet shocks are mounted upside down. Apparently, it has a seal where the shaft goes in and out which needs to be in oil otherwise it will not last long. Not sure if this is actually true or not, but was told this from the guy who installed mine the last time.

No problem.
It's quick to pop the clips off and flip them.
Will do it later when I fit the air box and cut the hole in the bonnet for the air scoop.
Had to make a temporary scoop, as our pattern shop is way behind production, so my part is on the shelf until they have time to do it.
I'll post pics of the air box installed later.

The air box finally came.
Fits nice and snugly. A piece of 3" silicone hose on the snorkel inlet seals super tight, no way water is getting passed that.
The air box looks awesome in the engine bay
Going to relocate the 2nd battery into the back. Will cut an access panel in the drawer system lid to fit the battery between the drawers and the body panel.
Unfortunately the air box won't allow for the 2nd battery as the outlet to the turbo touches, so a bit of compromise
I'm sticking the air boxes under

The engineering shop made some serious jigging fixtures, so they can churn them out 100% every time.
I made up a really cheap and nasty hood scoop from HDPE and pop riveted it to the bonnet for now until the final part is complete.
You have no idea how much it hurt me to have to cut a hole in the bonnet
At least it's drivable now, so time to drive and tune it

I have been battling to get hold of gas lifts here by us.
Our midas ordered some a while ago, more than once actually, but it never arrived...eventually they told me they cant get it for me...
Then I found some at autozone in nelspruit, but they did not have the facilities to pump them.
So if anyone can source some in gauteng for me, it would help me a lot...

Fanus, try a canopy place in your area.
They use them and can probably get the 4141's for you from their supplier.
Alternatively try phoning Parts Incorporated Africa, they are the holding company of Midas.
The Midas I got from is the PE branch of PIA.
