I guess it’s cos there’s a lot more knowledge and experience these days with a td42t here?

I do like my td42.
BUT, nothing will beat the comfort of the auto 4.8

Alex, all well and touring with my Companion Caravan that is now kitted. Far easier towing and you have all the comforts' . Miss the Patrol but the Ford Ranger with some bits from Gerhard before he left for NZ has made it a beast. 180 kW and 600 Nm. Uni Chip ++ with 4 programs so I can select from fuel economy, to full power or std and then one for towing which ups the torque.

Did a trip in Bots with a group only using caravans and was a dream,
I guess that is modern technology for you.
