Looks like a very neat Patrol!!
Is this not maybe a import? The fact that it has LSD rather than diff lock, cruise control, no fender flares and the biscuit rims, sunroof and it has no lights in the rear bumper makes it sound allot like a spec we never had in SA.
I dont think its a transplant, looks like a factory TD42

Not all UN spec issued with Vinyl, however, most were. In fact, most had 3/4 front bench seat too.. So this one is a tricky one.
The GL trim, black B + C pillars, black door handles, lack of wheel arch flares, and clear provisions for jump seats (possibly removed), indicate possible UN spec, but impossible to tel without owner input.
