Okay so ek was maar baie stil die laaste ruk. Ek het my Bloutrol gekry by Michael na hy redelik lank gestaan het, daar was baie werk gedoen en allerhande "special requests" van my kant af wat ekstra tyd geneem het. Al wat ek kan se is "WOW"!! Nie net ek nie, maar my vrou is verlief op hom (die blou Patrol nie Michael nie)

Kom ek vat julle so bietjie deur wat gedoen is op hom:

So net voor paasnaweek het my radiator gebars oppad huistoe na n lekker 4x4 trippie by donkerpoort trail by Gariep. Ons het bietjie in n dam gespeel en die watergras en modder was nie n goeie idee nie
Ek het vir maande met n TD42T spare gesit was in Bloutrol moes in, want hy was n N/A TD42 op 35" bande... As jy n effense helling sien gooi jy al 4de toe, of soms 3de toe...

Gevat na Michael, ek soek volgende:
1. Turbo spec build
2. Nuwe radiator
3. Madman natuurlik. Met oil pressure en oil temp ook
4. Sy top mount exhaust manifold
5. Een van sy nuwe high flow intake manifolds
6. Stainless filter housing
7. Soek n Mitsubishi TD05-18G turbo, ek is lief vir duine ry..
8. Ek soek n 4" exhaust... Because noise Soek max flow ook aangesiem ek 11mm gekry het wat ek wil max (sal eendag as ek groot is 12mm pomp doen)
9. Front mount intercooler

Al die bogenoemde is toe gedoen en dis stunning werk vanaf Michael en Viper met die 4" exhaust en boost pype. Ek wil nog n ordentelike video neem, maar video vang netnie die klank reg op nie. 4" straight pyp loop eintlik verbasend sag, maar onder boost begin hy te praat!! Het darem al so 2000km gedoen, grootste probleem wat ek het is almal wat die mooi werk wil kyk, so dit lyk altyd by n braai asof hy stukkend is met bonnet oop

Next up... Moet dak ruil met n dak wat ek by David gekoop het, hy het baie roes op sy A-pillars en gutters. En saam dit sal dit sommer met n dual cab chop gepaard gaan.. Flat tray met kamp canopy agterop.. Dan moet ek my 4.6 ratios ook nog fit en ek wil graag n 4" SS snorkel bou... Maar voor die chop sal die GQ (wat vk45 supercharged kry) eers gechop word as n test run

En al wat ons sien is die blou masjien .....jammer hy was nog nie op n dino nie

Another current project is a TD42T bakkie that I bought that had a lot of dents and bruises, but was mechanically 100%. Michael did a compression test and it tested 29bar cold on al 6 cylinders. So next step was to fix it up, and this time I chose Jan Fourie from quantum auto body to fix the dents and bruises, but being there and Tinus hearing me moan about wanting a bakkie sprayed with Raptor liner he (once again, dankie maat jys n Yster) organized and in the process oom Jan painted it bright red (because who wants a white raptor lined bakkie? It MUST be flashy) The thing about Raptor paint is that you can choose a really impractical colour and it becomes practical with the paint, because scratching is a thing of the past. So far so good, but check this out!! The paint gets a bit of an orange tone on pictures once it gets dusty, but you just spray it with a wap and its clean. This stuff is awesome for a work and 4x4 vehicle. This bakkie is the TD42 that I have/had that really starts the easiest, the starter barely ingages and it just fires up.

Yes dit is jammer, maar ons sal n power run reel as hy mooi gestel is en al die klein goed uitgesorteer is. Sou graag gister daar wou wees!

Ek laaik daai intake stukkend
