I am very, very happy - thanks again Tinus for your help and advice!!

I am flying up next week to collect, Tinus is having a bullbar and Madman fitted, and doing an oil and filter change.

Lawrence, the MadMan is an engine monitoring system. For a whole bunch of things. EGT's / similar.
