There are no Patrols to rent here , in fact, there are a handful only of Y61s in Chile.
You may rent Nissan Navaras, D22 or D21 , also Pathfinders, Hilux and 4Runners, but Patrols no way :naughty:

This will give you a small glimpse of what Chile has to offer to the traveller. No matter all pictures were taken from Central (Santiago) to Southern Chile (Patagonia) , the north of Chile is also wonderful, has the world's dryest desert and has a lot to offer (form Santiago , cap. city Central Chile to the northern tip of Chile you have still 2.900 Kmts (1.810 miles) to go.

You may check this official government Site of Chile : http://www.estoeschile.cl/default.aspx?Ing=24

A peek to the north ...

You must become Pirates, kidnap a barge and navigate to Buenos Aires, Argentina  , drive south through Argentina to Bariloche and El Boson towns , cross to Chile close to Patagonia and drive up through Chile's southern part up, crossing lake district, and up to Santiago (this round trip is around 5.000 Kmts), if you have some oxygen still , drive up North to northern Chile (like the Paris Dakar rally , but via highways).
