Well my plan is to get new king pin bearings and replace all of them. I did see that the left side ones are a bit worn and rusted when I changed the CV ceal just before my Namibia trip in June.

Yes I will make sure of the preload

By the way, does anyone have a part number for aftermarker bearings and seals for the king pins?
