Hello all....
Ok so ..... Lets conquer the Heidelberg trail !!!
Lets meet at 09H00 at the garage on the N3 ( Total ) which is about 6.5Km passes the Barry Marais / Vosloorus turnoff. We can have a quick cuppa coffee before we head out further to the trail.
Here is the co-ordinates for the garage offramp
S 26°23'22.84"
E 28°15'10.99"
The cost is R150 / vehicle and R20 extra per person. Bring own refreshments and a chop & dop for afterwards. There is braai facilities there.
Please let me know if you are coming through by printing the indemnity form attached. If possible please e-mail me your Name, ID no, Cell no, and email address as well as the completed indemnity to me before midday Friday, ( cedricw@scsarchitects.co.za ) as that will also speed up the registration and payment time when we get there
Here are the co-ordinates for the trail again
S26 34'41.75". E28 20'57.51"

Re: Nissan off road club - Heidelberg 4x4 trail - 26 July 20
ha ha....oh yeah it happened.... Heidelberg is a difficult trail to take pics as it is one 2 hour obstacle......haha....
I think Thabbies will have a few pics to load hopefully.
As for the Tipo afterwards .... What a fantastic day, with MANY MANY good laughs that rounded off a good days driving. My wife's colleague that drove the V8 Landy Defender sent me an sms saying that they really had a good day driving with guys that enjoyed 4x4'ing, and as for the disco 3 with std highway tyres... he did everything we did and I think he was quite amazed at what the vehicle can do.... especially when one understands how traction control works and how to control it.... Well done Kleeve!!
As for Juice.... he is the most BORING driver to watch doing an obstacle .....hahahaha ( he's going to kick my donkey for saying this).... If you know Greg... he just gently creeps up and down the obstacles like a shy little boy eating a lollypop in a corner... Juice you are a legend brother !!
Thabbies... not a scared bone in his body..... He bounced that shorty on the one part of the obstacle more times than some mattresses see....haha.... Deon, well done my friend!!
Andre with Leeuloop made the hardbody's proud. He eased around the track without any diff issues !!
Christo, that Tipo did hit the spot at the end hey? That 4.2 litre oil burner with no slip diff anymore and no weight on the back made all fuzzy all over..
... As Grant always says.... I love the smell of diesel in the morning !!.... well done!!
All in all ....Thank you guys for making this day a GREAT day!!
