Fit a big V8 and stay away from the turbo. Talk to Tommie and Frans.

A while back I showed it to a friend who has fiddled with turbos a bit and he was shocked by the quality of the work....looked cool but not a good conversion.

Tommie's fuel consumption is not so cool. Don't know what Frans's is.
Turbo can be good for consumption.
Supercharge is only bad for consumption if you actually tap into the extra power.
If done right it can be reliable. KalahariSafari lost his TB45 after it being supercharged. But I suspect it was a bad job.
I will still supercharge my engine one day. Just so I can give Tommie a go on the dunes.
Can't justify it right now though.
