Alex, Tinus's post-facelift 4.8 has 16" wheels fitted at the moment.

I am not sure of your car, but I am under the impression the change in brakes goes hand in hand with the handbrake being changed from a transmittion brake to wheel brakes, and as far as I know only the 4.8 has those.

I am thus 90% certain you can use 15" rims on your car, but why don't you check and let us know. You can borrow my spare if you want?

All 4.8 brakes are to big for 15 rims 16 fits on both pre and post facelift

OK great to hear that 16" does fit the 4.8 Fortunately 17" tyres are becoming more available so it is not such a problem as in the past to get stock.

4.8 Auto handbrake on drums and manuals on transmission.

My late 2005 (face lifted) GL (manual gearbox) handbrake works on rear wheels not on propshaft

The breaks on the 4.8 is bigger so the 15 dont fit
