I actually been using this same item for last 9 months on my boat trailer and vehicle - I have the two dispays mounted in the top centre cubby of the 4.8 dash. So far very happy with the performance. In fact, I initially thought something was wrong with it cos it kept showing higher temp and pressure on the left back wheel after driving more than 40km or so, then I realised its because of the exhaust passing close to the wheel - it actually makes a quite a differnce!
I can now easily monitor my tyre pressures especially when set really low (0.8) and driving over the dunes to get to Ponta, The distance from the boat trailer wheels to the receiver unit in the dash did not present any problems.

Chris we got two of the 6 weel ones for the boat and caravan people it has a antenna for the trailer that comes at the back?
Your boat has got 4 weels so do you use a 4 for the patrol and a 4 for the boat????

There is no diff between steel or alu rim sender works the same !!!!!

Yes Tinus, I have 2 x 4 sensor units - as I say, works great. I got mine on ebay - around R1000 plus shipping and taxes.

That is oubout correct the shipping and taxes is what kills it but whhen we ship ten at a time it works better
