If your car is in the VIN range (and it should be) they will replace it free of charge if it is less than six years old. Go to another dealer if you don't get joy from your current one.

Did you query this with Nissan Head Office : InfoDesk@nissan.co.za
What year did the bubbles start? I'm looking at a 2005... = 7 years.

It would appear that Nissan SA has stopped honering the dashboard bubble replacement as I have tried a number of dealerships and Nissan SA themselves to no avail. Sad really as these are the best vehicles they have on the market.

Do yourself a favour - haul out a grand or so an get it done yourself at Leathertek in Pta North - saves a lot of stress and complications.
See one of my previous posts on the results... have'nt looked back.

Hallo Chris
Thanks for the info. I have the bubble problem - will most defintely call leathertek. Do you have photos of how their patrol fix look? Are you still happy with the work they've done?

I think Nissan Dealerships have stopped fixing this now, but as a last attempt I would try Mark White Nissan. They did the recall on my air bag last year & when chatting to John he told me then that they would still try help guys who had the dash issue.

Worth a shot before spending your own cash...

Hallo Thys

Just for your information.

My dashboard was replaced about mid 2016 (on a 2005 Patrol) by Nissan Menlyn / PTA.
No questions asked.
