Nissan Patrol 4x4 (Africa)

I have brought back this old topic.

Does anyone know if the name "The Beast" been used for a Patrol or other lesser 4X4 yet?

Manny moons ago there was a dark blue GU 4.5 BEAST but I think the owner sold and "verdwyn" from the forum, not sure if Kobus Pienaar aka Herrie has named his GU Beast

Jules, if you are thinking of the same one that I am, then it was a 4.8 (pre 2004) and it belonged to Nico Pienaar, whose forum name is also Beast

My 4.5 Y61 used to be called Imvubu (Hippo) for obvious reasons .

Well David if that is the case then your Patrol is now officially the new BEAST since Nico Pienaar have sold his Patrol

BEAST II is Jorry Jordaan's off green Patrol
So - maybe Beast III then ?
(As far as I know - Nobody has "Animal" on the Patrol crowd? [Johan Safari's bakkie was "Animal" but became "Fear Factory" after he sold it to Theuhan]

Right. So it's definetly not "The Beast"........... was my first impession when I took it offroad for the first time but has obviously had the same impression on others........ Back to the drawing board......

Nie sleg voel nie David -- oompie het al n jaar die Pradop en die ding het nognie naam nie -- Boezman was paar maande by my voor hy BOEZMAN geword het - en Agarob het ook 2 anner name gwhad voor AGAROB vasgesteek het [hom het ek met naam en al verkoop - en Boezman is ook nounog Boezman -- al is hy nou Wimpi s'n.
LOBO is ook LOBO 'forever"

Maar as daai "naam" inskop - dan word daai Patrol amper soos een van die familie
