rear brakes glazing and making lots of noize

i have 3 x 2017, 3l patrols that was converted into 10 seater safari vehicles.

We seem to have an problem wiht the rear drum brakes, "glazing" and then veyr noizy when you brake.
my mechanic suggested to de-activate the rear diff load sensor, could this help?

i have a feeling, that hte brakes are adjusted to close to the drums, maybe just adjust the brakes so that they not so close to the drums?

Are you talking about pickups? Because surely the wagons have disc brakes?

Make sure handbrake cable are completely loose when ajusting brakes

yes they were pick ups.

by the way is there any way to fit disc brakes on the diff of the pick up?

Remove the rear wheels and inspect the HAND BRAKE CABLE if it is routed correctly .. special where it goes through the "guide" .. if it releases properly

Gentlemen, is the hand brake not on the propshaft?

Glazing is a process caused by over-heating, and it would be very strange to see that on a game viewer, unless the brakes are adjusted too tightly or your drivers have a habit of resting their clutch feet on the brake pedal.

I would just adjust them away from the drums a little bit?

yes the hand brake sit on the transfer case with its own drum, same system as the land rover, so i dont think that has anything to do with it.

he talks about a load sensor on the diff and wants to remove it or de-activate it, my question is, would this be a wise move?

I would only consider doing that if you never take the vehicle onto a public road.
