Got lucky. Tinus found a set of four slightly-used Dunlop MT2's in the size I wanted at a fitment centre in the cape.

I asked the guy to add a 5th and the total including shipment from the cape came to R7k. Now I just need to get them fitted.

Baie.

Kyk, hulle raas. Baie meer as die Bridgestone muddies. En tipies muddy is daar 'n soort van 'n vibrasie as jy stadig op teerpad ry.

Maar in die veld is hulle diep indrukwekkend. Ek het regitg die gevoel gekry dat hulle minder weerstand het op die tweespoor sand-paadjies, en in die modder poele het dit gevoel asof ek my lyn kan kies en meestal op die middelmannetjie bly, terwyl baie van die ander ouens gekla het dat die kar van links na regs gegooi word.

En omdat hulle lekker groot is in deursnee, het ek nooit op my diwwe bly hang nie. Hulle het ook nooit toegepak nie, en regtig vinnig van die modder ontslae geraak.

In kort, ek het nie een keer vasgeval nie. Baie ander het, maar heelwat ander het ook nie, en ek dink steeds die belangrikste ding is net om meer grondvryhoogte as ten minste een van die drie ouens voor jou op die pad.
