2000 4.2 Patrol Diesel water trap empty?
Hi all I have a 2000 4.2d which has a water trap warning light burning, can I drain the water trap or do I have to replace the diesel filter?

You can just drain the water. The trap is on the bottom of the diesel filter. It has a drain which you twist to drain the water. Dont twist all the way out, just enough to drain any water.
