Re: Engine mounts gone - GQ
Hi all.
The engine mounts on my 94 Gq have also gone.
Could this also help explain why i now have a leaking rear main seal ? Or is that a separate issue?
Anyone have any luck on locating the mounts in SA and a rough price ? From research i found the following part No: 11220-10J09 from the oz forums and http://www.allfourx4.com.au/. Mounts seems to differ for post'92 modals.

Re: Engine mounts gone - GQ
I dont think your crank seal leak and mountings have anything to do with each other

Agreed, may just be their time.
May be worth investigating if all is well on the bottom end too./
Mileage on her?

Re: Engine mounts gone - GQ
Hi Gary
We can get you the engine mounts. The mount pre 1992 is a 2 hole mount. Post 1992 is a 4 hole mount. These are for the front, on the rear all GQ's has the same mounts. Please forward me you information and confirm that you have the 4 hole front mounts to sales@terrainparts.co.za. I will reply with a quote for you.
Thanks
Marinus

Re: Engine mounts gone - GQ
Many Thanx Marinus. Have emailed you.
Yes i guess it was just the rear mains time. Yes i believe they are the original 94 engine mounts. I understand the vehicle was rebuilt (not very well) in about 2000 and suspect the same mounts were just reused.I've only had the vehicle a couple months and was a Landy guy before so its all pretty new to me.
