4.5 GRX Spare Wheel Bolts
Good morning Patrol folkses,
I built a spacer for my spare (the new tyres were interfering with the operation of the back windscreen wiper) over the weekend, and gathered that one of my spare wheel bolts is broken. No idea how or when this happened, but given the weight of the spare wheel / tyre, I'm not comfortable having it attached with only two bolts.
Does anyone perhaps have a spare lying around they could be coerced to part with (with a liberal donation of largess or alcohol) ?
Appreciated.
Ian

Re: 4.5 GRX Spare Wheel Bolts
Ian, if you can measure it and send me the dimensions, I am probably going to the bolt & nut shop tomorrow afternoon.
Please note that my phone is currently on the blink, so please mail it to me?

Thanks for the effort, but this is something I've done in the meantime (ie: A normal HT bolt). I would, however, like to get a standard one again. :(

Re: 4.5 GRX Spare Wheel Bolts
Ian, dd you get a standard one yet? Think they will be quite expensive to get from Nissan. (http://patrolapart.com.au/product/genui ... ith-thread).
Wonder if there is not another company that can supply them.. ( I mailed a-line to find out if they cant supply them, will see what they say).
What is the specs for the bolt: m10x1.25?
I broke one of my nuts, but need to get 3 as the bolts for the grx mags are different than for steel mags. (they got a shaft - which does not work so lekker on steel rims).

Fanus - The photo above is for mags. Ask Michael to post a photo of the one's I gave him which are for steelies but also work on the mags. Much simpler and easy to make up as Errol says.

Just posted the photo to show what the ones for the mags look like.
The steelies ones are these: I will try to make my own ones.

Sorry - I only saw this now. I've been relatively seriously sick the last week, so I've not been particularly active on the various forums...
I've not been able to get at all yet.
If I track some down, I'll let you know.

Baie mooi Fanus, daai sal werk
As jy wil he hulle moet mooi in die centre sit moet jy langer boute koop en hulle deur draai. Sny daai doppies agter op die nuts af en draai die stud/bout so entjie deur. Weld hom dan aan die agter kant
