Re: Clutch pedal just dropped to floor
Thanks Guys for the replys, especially about Frans, but the Troll is in Windhoek..... sent e-mails to the place in brackenfell and they looking for spares. Does anyone one know the actual seal part #'s They not manufactured by nissan so should have a common # on them or even if someone knows the dimensions and I will try find some in Windhoek spare shops. Think I will also try fit some sort of heat deflector for the master cyl.

Re: Clutch pedal just dropped to floor
I had the same problem with my 2000 patrol 4.5grx .This only happend when i was towing uphill and was working hard in the box. The exhaust collector is very close to the slave cylinder so i installed a heat shield to help get the heat down. I bought the patrol in 2004 and it had a service record from nissan dealers, but i dont think they ever changed the brake fluid as recommended every 2 years.I changed it every year with a dot 4 brake fluid and never had the problem again.

I agree with Roelf. The brake fluid boils in the slave cylinder. Replace and put a heat shield.
