Van daardie engines is daar baie ratkaste wat op pak.
Een Patrol met dieselfde engine moes al 6 ratkaste vervang.

Dit is eenvoudiger en goedkoper om enjin met ratkas te vervang, maar dit is moontlik waar die probleme in kom.
Dit is hoekom ek met die Nissan ratkas gebly het, en dalk deels ook hoekom ek nie probleme het nie.
Geen goeie ombouing is goedkoop nie, maak nie saak hoe goedkoop die enjin was nie.
Die Lexus V8 is egter min of meer presies wat Landcruiser V8s vandag in het. Die Landcruisers is dalk groter enjin blok maar andersins is dit die selfde.
Dit is hoekom ek mense se kritiek op die enjin vir 4x4 vreemd vind.
ECU en ratkas is baie meer bepaled in 4x4 performance
