Russ, Kobus, be very carefull.

Remember that the body is mounted on rubbers and moves relative to the chassis.

Kobus, are those sliders mounted so that they touch the body all the way? They must touch to work properly!

From your earlier post on how they locate to the body mounting point at the chassis, i understand how they get their rigidty, but as you say they must sit against the legnth of the body in order to retain that strength.

What im suggesting is to forgo the original mounting point entirely and adapt it by engineering new robust arms that attach at the chassis. (Ie: get rid of the current mounting system by means of angle grinder!)

Ps: Juan, sorry to have Highjacked your Sales Thread!

Tinus lotz wrote:check nicely the brackets form the chassis some time gives hook up points for rocks ect . what you need is a tubing that runs under your body that you can slide on with as little possible hook up points i will fit body ones too :mytwocents:
I can see your point too. I guess both systems have a pro and a con.

When i do mine i wil use arms locating at the chassis and then steel plate between the arms to create that flat surface.

Ps: Grants are the best i've seen in this country. Very similar to the way the Auzzies do theirs and thats how i want to do mine eventually.
