The TB42, TB45 and TD42 engined patrols all take the LUK Nissan Cabstar clutch kit, much cheaper than the stealer part.

If I remember correctly the LUK part number is either MK222 or RMK222.

Not sure what the options are for a TB48. or the 3.0TD

Hope that helps.

The 4.2 and 4.5 clutch do differ :naughty: They are the same size and all but the 4.5 has a solid centre clutch plate and the 4.2 diesel a cushing centre.Dont mix it ,the diesel will vibrate your ears off!

A agent clucth kit is +-R1800 for the clutch plate,R3500 for the pressure plate and release bearing R350.The rear main seal R1200 ,witch is a one piece,so a clutch job can be expensive without the labour. You can buy a aftermarket kit for R2500,the release bearing they supply is wrong, but buy the agent one.The rearmain seal is not a problem, buy a lose seal aftermarket and with very little machineing make it fit in the old housing. The seal is about R40.A after market clutch work just fine in a petrol 4.5 and just as good in a diesel 4.2 but the gearbox is a little more noizy in neutral on idle, only the diesels.Reason for that is the aftermarket clutch's centre piece springs are harder and carry the enjin noice trough the g-box.Trust me I found it the hard way after the 3rd time I pulled the box. With the wrong plate in my car the first time it sound like a truck with a cummings enjine and a fuller box that done a million miles.Driveing it in 4th gear (one to one ratio) it change the mirror ajustment, very bad.Any way my car is fixed and runnig like a mouse with socks.
