. In addition to this rocksliders and an ARB Bumper is now a must have because I partially killed the Nissan Patrol's nudge bar as well as causing some minor bumper damage on that steep exit that I attempted by the waterhole and slightly deformed one of my running boards with a minor sill dent which I think I showed you when I landed on a "bump". 
Needless to say I could not get out as a result these setbacks...nothing the insurance cannot take care of though 
. Funny things happen when you take part in challenges of this nature with a vehicle like the Patrol. Had so many guys coming and talking to me in general and commenting the Patrol's abilities in some of those obstacles as well as one or two other Patrollers who want to join in on weekend rides so we must really make a plan sometime from PE side. It was great fun and the Patrol was an absolute pleasure to tackle the hills with....that's where you are greatfull for the 3.0 D's torque. In the end however no prizes for me but what a lekka day it was, even though I had to pull soft on one or two of those obstacles where my length and height was a definite issue. I recommended the Patrol Forum to the Patrollers I met so let's see if they join and if they do maybe we can arrange our own outing in EC.Watch this space and we chat again.
