I will soon be moving to the West Coast, and the fact that the CT City Council is "banning" off grid solar systems and the fact my 4 month old Kodak equipment is not IP65 rated (best for trying to avoid coastal "rust" scenarios) is pushing me to sell it (substantially lower that what I paid for it!!) up here in Gauteng where rust is not an issue. If CT is going the route of banning Off-grid systems, I bet you our West Coast village District Council will not be far behind.
As a pensioner I cannot afford for the electronic components and PC boards to rust and then having to replace them 2 or 3 years down the road
I am selling the following - 4 months old (I have no PV panels, I run it like a UPS):
1. One 10kw Kodak Off-Grid inverter
2. Three Kodak FL5.2kWh 48V Batteries
3. Three Kodak FL5.2 Cable Packs
Everything is set up and working perfectly, I have also updated to the latest firmware. Without the PV Panels, the complete system is a breeze to install.
I paid R132k and some change for it.
I have all the packaging and cables for it and this will all be included.
Kodak gives a 10 year warrantee on their equipment if you use their Inverter and Batteries.
Since installing this equipment, we do not know what Load shedding is, except when driving around and being confronted by non-functioning traffic lights...
I want R110K for it, very slightly negotiable, as I now have to get a IP65 rated 8kw Sunsync Inverter (more expensive that the normal one) and I am still searching for IP65 rated batteries.
System to be collected at my residence, I am in Bedfordview, oh ate 3 two nine 6 twenty five seventy.
