Hello everybody!
After 2 years we come back to your wonderfull country on 22.2.
Antony Forgey overhowled our car complete, so we are driving now for only 6 weeks to the nature with a brand new Patrol.
This time we want to see a little bit more of Botswana and I'm planning a little bit arround. Only a little bit, because plans are made to change them
The first will be Pilanesberg (ok, only to train the eyes again), then Mapunggupwe, -> BOT
I thought about the northern Tuli Game Reserve for a while, but I saw only strange prices in the web.
Has somebody here been there? Are there places with rasonable prices (for people from Germany... everything is much more expensive for Germans)
And some tips for other destinations without booking (we love watching animals, without too many other people) ?
Frank

Re: This time: Botswana
Welcome back Frank. I hope this time everything works!
Forum member Craig Lord works on a game reserve in the Tuli area. Perhaps a PM will get you some good info.
As for animals and no people, Central Kalahari Game Reserve is the best place I know of. Not sure if you will be able to get away without bookings though.

Of course Central Kalahari.
I hope, that we can get there without booking.
I think, no problem at the moment.

Oh yes, I heard about Covid....
Thanks for the info.
We have our 3 injections
@Tinus: yes, seems to be that he converted the turtle to a cheetah - I'm very curious to see it next week
