How good is the RD28ETi?

Post by farmer58za »

Hi All

I'm hoping to go and look at a really, really nice low mileage Y61 Patrol GR SWB (110 000km!) this week. It's fitted with the standard (at that time) RD28ETi 6 cyl turbo diesel motor. I have done some reading up and the motor seems to have a decent reputation, albeit a bit small for the Patrol.

Has anyone here had a lot of experience with those motors?

TIA
David

Ek sal sterker clutch setup bou vir hom nou.

My tb42 het nou so amper 450k km op....
