OBDII Scanner

Post by Steele »

Hey guys, I want to get an OBDII scanner for my Trol to be able to read the engine codes, Reading up, there seems to be some compatibility issues with some vehicles. I see there are a range of scanners available from 150 bucks upwards. So my question is, what do you use or recommend? I have a madman already so don't need to monitor those engine parameters, just the fault codes. And I drive the 3.0 CRD. Thanks!
Cheers, Gareth

2008 4.8GRX. I've tried several units, connecting via a multitude of protocols, and can get none to read anything other than voltage
