Guys, it's with a very sad heart that I have to say that I'm out.....
My son is busy with Matric Prelims, and work has picked up a bit and we need to push as hard as possible while the work is there. I am going to cry a few tears when you all are kickin' up mud and dust on this momentous 70th Patrol Anniversary.
I really feel bad, but hopefully I make the 80th Anniversary !!
Cedric
Very sad that you will not be there. Over the past few years you and Lara have been as scarce as a chicken tooth.
This makes me wonder, how many of the 60th in 3 Provinces 2011 will be there for #70.
And, with the same car...

Well.. at least a few but not sure if I qualify? Since the 60th, I've upgraded tires, suspension, and of course the hairdryer not to even mention the pretty neat re-upholstered seats... Same body though (but the rust is new).
Christo, Rod and Alex, I must say that I really am sad with my plans not working out as I had hoped, but that doesn't mean I won't be there in spirit.
Over the 12 years that I have owned my Iron Maiden Patrol I have met so many unbelievable friends and without a shadow of a doubt I can honestly say that no other brand of vehicle can say that they have a tighter, more compassionate, and respectful cult following as we do as a Patrol 4x4 Forum family. The wealth of knowledge that each and every person on this forum has and is willing to share, help and advise is the most heart warming thing to see when overlooking this great family.
This 70th Anniversary of our heavy steel (I nearly said heavy metal.....haha) family members, is actually for nobody else but each and every Patrol family member right across the country and even neighbouring countries. Never have I seen so many people with so many personalities come together with one goal in mind... to have fun without silly ego's getting in the way. We are a Brotherhood and Sisterhood, with everyone looking out for everyone.
