Re: Who is doing what to their patrols ?
Good day.
Made that most of my sunny Saturday yesterday before the big rains hit Mpumalanga. Just for interest we have received 200mm rain in the past 12 hours.
Managed to complete the framework for the rear seat storage area. That will get a flat deck above the tank ontop of the uprights.
Also managed to use the space beside the fridge for the inverter and solar charger. I raised the inverter that it doesn't interfere witn the fridge vent. Not sure what I will do in that space. Maybe some electrical things.
I decided that i will try mount storage system above the fridge up against the roof to store my solar panels. To slide in and out when needed. The panels will be free standing to position in the sum while I camp in the shade.
Cheers

Re: Who is doing what to their patrols ?
I see not a lot has been posted here lately so thought Id give an update on our patrol mods. Some before and after photo's showing off the mods.
Ive built some DIY rockslides, built some DIY foglight brackets to replace the original ironman foglight that were broken. Also did some DIY painting of the flares, bull bar hoop and mirrors, that bar light gave a bad reflection off the stainless hoop.
Still finalising the dash switch panel, current panel is a test fit prototype, as you can see the switches don't quite fit, this was due to using sockets on the switches which i didn't account for in the original design spec. Completed panel coming soon... those locker switches are wishful thinking, for now still on the must need to have list of mods. This switch panel is linked to a 6way fuse and relay box in the engine bay.
Cheers, hope everyone has a good weekend
