Just my 2c worth - I dropped my Patrol off at Michael for the conversion from donkie diesel to turbo diesel, and I have to say while thanks to 'rona and a whole host of underlying issues that Michael found and dealt with, it did take about 5 months to complete the conversion - BUT is has totally transformed my Patrol and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Thanks to Michael's professional approach I now have a completely sorted Patrol.
A few other things Michael had to do:
Replace the cylinder head with a genuine Nissan TD42 heat - the pirate head on the car was missing internal heat shielding and was cracked.
Recon the diesel pump
Replace the clutch - poor thing could not handle the increase in power.
Replace the radiator - the aftermarket radiator installed could not cope.
Modify the aftermarket bumper to accomodate the intercooler and improve cooling air flow.
A boatload of other small niggles that he found and dealt with and told me about afterward.
Thanks Michael

Re: Sojo Automotive....... the TD42 one stop shop
I want to get it on a dyno asap, didn't have time when I went to collect it, but going by foot feel about 70% better acceleration and drivability. Hills are now something you look forward to, not something you dread, as is overtaking.
The best way I can describe the difference pre and post turbo is when you find yourself looking for a sixth gear because it now just keeps pulling. Oh, and I now wake my neighbours with the awesome exhaust note.
Economy wise, I can see it is more economical than the normal 7.5 to 8 km/l I used to get, what it is exactly now I still have to test - I am still getting used to the abundance of power and being able to sit at 120 comfortably.
I sent you a PM about the costs, best would be to speak to Michael.
