Forum Upgrade - Date To Be Announced

Folkses, just a place holder thread here. As mentioned quite a while ago, I will need to look at upgrading the Forum software at some point.

This will be a major version upgrade, so it has been taking quite a while to get an upgrade path planned. Happily, I am almost at a point where I will be able to do this.

As such, a date and time will be announced when we will perform the upgrade. This will be announced in due course.

I do not envisage much downtime, but I will communicate the plans when I have scheduled the upgrade.

There are a number of bugs that the upgrade will fix.

Folkses. I am going to look at doing an update of the forum software on the evening of Saturday, 31 October, 2020. In short: the forum will be unavailable for a few hours at this time.

I will confirm 100% on Saturday morning, but I imagine I will go ahead with this update at that time. :)
