This is the Patrol forum. Not the Cruiser forum.
However, should the trailer be broken to the point where it can't be towed, we may not have the equipment to help. Because we are the Patrol forum, we may not be the world's best bush mechanics.

My advice after having done 9 of these river trips.... don't take a trailer.

Daai trailer gaan soos n anker wees.Dungbeetle wrote: ↑06 Jun 2020 18:12 So f I do tow and get into difficulty, would the trip companions offer help or go the "I told you so" route

Best advice is, don't take a trailer on the river trip. It's not like a Botswana or Namibia trip.

If you want to break your trailer take it along . Also remember the pace of moving along in convoy depends on the one infront of you we do both rivers in the time most other guys do the Letaba only .....i think come without and decide for next time

Agreed, the Rivertrip is not made for a trailer. The Molototsi river especially is very technical in some places.
Just as a side note, which type of trailer is it?
