That corrugated wire conduit stuff is just crumbling in my hands like crispy simba chips! Quite scary
Im sure you can go to most electrical or hardware stores (after lockdown) and buy some new conduit one or 2 sizes bigger and just put it over the orriginal wiring and cable tie it in place? The last thing you need is for the heat to make the plastic sheaths on each of the tiny loom wires to get brittle and crack. They will send signals to one another and play havoc with the systems. Exactly what nissan was saying was happening with mine...

If it's any consolation the price of the main engine wiring harness here in bots was P6000 and there are also 2 smaller looms for the engine and those were P1000 and P700 respectively. So it's not cheap but I dont think it's a bank breaker either. Maybe just put new ones in then you dont have to worry again :mytwocents:

Thanks guys. Maybe I’ll somma do cloth tape and then the conduit over. It was actually just all the stuff on the exhaust manifold side, but still, not good at all!

Anthony installed a madman coolant level sensor in my 4.8 today. Now I don’t need to worry about the water level anymore (and he even fixed a leaking oil coolant pipe)

Thanks Ant, amazing work. Now I just need to be able to GO SOMEWHERE

Im so keen for a full Madman system on my 4.8 but looks like we aren't going to he able to come to SA for quite a few months still, very frustrating.
