Re: Very nice rear bumper
That front bumper is a Beaut, but here is my question...
What is the reason for fitting an aftermarket front bumper?
Winch - no as you can fit it with the standard bumper
Recovery points - no as you fit those to the chassis
Approach angle - possibly, but I have seen that done to a standard bumper
Other reasons?
I want to protect the lights, bonnet, radiator as far as possible and with these type of bumpers I don't see that happening or am I missing the point......
Please enlighten me

Re: Very nice rear bumper
Hi Dirk
ok seriously, damaged front bumper on my first 'extreme' outing because of the approach angle - so that was the main reason/improvement. It still sometimes makes contact with the ground, especially when dune driving, but no more damage. Other plusses include taxis taking a wide berth around my trol.

Re: Very nice rear bumper
It is the best looking bumper I have yet seen, but I agree with Dirk. I want bars around the lights. And I think they could be added without hurting the looks much.
Unfortunately, it looks like a hell of a lot of work to make, so I don't think it would be cheap...

Peter what would you estimate the front and rear would cost to manufacture?Peter Connan wrote:It is the best looking bumper I have yet seen, but I agree with Dirk. I want bars around the lights. And I think they could be added without hurting the looks much.

Re: Very nice rear bumper
I would guess at least 50% more than the current offerings from BZT
But I am NOT volunteering.
