Congrats on your Patrol.
Please be careful with the wrong way around battery configuration. If not you some one else will short the dipstick on the positive terminal.

Wonder if a positive terminal covering of some sort could be fashioned to reduce that risk?

That positive is in the correct spot .Same as all the other patrols . Dipstick needs to be moved away from the positive ues ....going to arrange a cover for it ....on the 4.2td is worse the dipstick is even closer

The patrol is currently with me to have a new radio fitted as well as dual battery system and center console fridge.
