Hallo Kalahari.
Ek sien my naam is ook hier iewers genoem, so hier is my ondervinding.
Ons boer so 60 km noord van Vryburg.
Hul suspensies is 2" gelig. Ons het Old Man Emu, Bilstein en Terrain Tamer suspensies.
Almal is baie goed.

Good Day All,

It seems it time to get new shocks for Grizzly........

We have a 2007 Nissan Patrol 4.8 with 50mm lift which was achieved by IRONMAN Coils.

I bought the vehicle with TJM shocks......not wanting them again.......no particular reason.

2 questions:

Who does the best fitment and reasonable pricing. Centurion area if possible.

Then these are the shocks I have in mind.......please advise with pro's and cons if you don't mind. Add another option in manufacturer if I missed someone.

1. Ironman = Value for money?
2. Tough dog = like the name..... :rolling:
3. OME (OLD MAN EMO) = Been around for some time with good ratings.
4. Bilstein = Concerned might be too expensive

Our vehicle is a holiday vehicle. Does not tow heavy stuff. Comfort is my main aim. Off-road tracks does get done.

Thanks in advance.......
God follows me where I tread.....

2007 Nissan Patrol 4.8 GRX = GRIZZLY!!!

Nothing wrong with the brands but the name of the shock is not what matters ....
1 terrain taimer is great as Jannie said works well when it works every day so your holiday car wil last a lifetime with them .
Bilstein is very good and can be serviced if there is a problem.
Nothing wrong with ome just overpriced like a toyota due to marketing ....not bad but not better than the above mentioned kit
Michael can fit both for you
