Re: TPMS - Tyre care
So far I have no complaints with the system. At times it takes a while to register, especially in the morning but when the tyre pressure drops the alarm goes off immediately. Tested that the day at Piesangkloof when I deflated the tyres.Oetie wrote: ↑11 Jan 2019 11:35So I got the TPMS from Takealot, will be fitting new tyres next week and the TPMS sensors at the same time. The question now is, where did you place the monitor's in your vehicles? With the solar charging it should be on the dash, but how did you secure it on the dash? I am nervous to use double sided tape on the dash to prevent possible damage as the dash on my Patrol still looks brand new...Oetie wrote: ↑08 Jan 2019 09:01 I see this system is currently on Takealot.com available for R1 950 for the internal sensors.

Feedback from those that bought it please? I am about to put new tyres on my Patrol and want to ensure I keep an eye on the rubber investment I am making.
I just lost my manual.... changed front and rear tyres and do not know now how to change it in the system itself...

Re: TPMS - Tyre care
Not sure exactly how this specific unit works, just yet.. I used it on my little platkar for a regulatory rally (through eSwatini and Moz ) and in the mornings the car will be quiet but as soon as I open the door the thing starts beeping as the tire pressure would drop below the preset 2.0 bar at night , so effectively a nice alarm ;-) And I only used the solar.
