Re: Cape Town Get 2gether
I am also working abroad and the weekends at home are always so short, so they are put to work properly!
I cannot see myself driving to Cape Town for a show and shine, sorry but not my style.
Reenen has offered his place for GTG.
Llewellyn Edwards and the Wildebeest 4x4 club have contacts all over for camping /4wd and has more Patrol's than you can shake a stick at.
For this, I will drive to the middle of the province or The Dunes 4x4/Kleintafelberg or Greyton for a GTG.
I love all things Patrol , but not shoepolished tyres in a parking lot.

Re: Cape Town Get 2gether
11am can work for me.
I'm also open to going to Reenen's farm in Greyton. Many thanks to Reenen for the kind offer.
I have a question: are WC patrol people keen on doing something on a regular basis, similar to what the okes in Gauteng do?
I for one am, but, as for most of us it would be work permitting. If others are of the same mind, we could use this initial gtg as a basis for exploring something more regular?

I was hoping we can discuss this amongst other stuff at our gathering. Obviously it would be work permitting for most but those who are available can meet up as frequently as they can and on occasion do something with a bigger group.

Re: Cape Town Get 2gether
I'm up for anything like that, be good to get together on a regular basis, we all know (at least the Gautenger's do) how laid back we are in SlaapStadBre wrote: ↑29 May 2019 12:1911am can work for me.

So let try get this off the ground? Yep its a long way from Vredenburg for a light lunch and a drink so can understand that view point, lets get the Trolls out doing what they do best.... and that's not parking in malls.
If any of the members travel a far way to attend a outing and need over night accommodation in S/West, i have a big empty house - kids have flown the coup.
