GAS STRUTS FOR PATHFINDER

Post by roelf prinsloo »

Dankie.

If you can get a sample to me, or a photo of any numbers on the thing, I can have my local Bosch diesel electric contact to work it out. The specs in terms of what they should be pumped to might, however, be a little trickier to work out....

Walter McNaughtan supplies in Selby. On average R100 to R150 per strut 3 years ago.

I just phoned McNaughtans yesterday morning, I need a set for my Pathfinder as well.

R127.65 each, including VAT

I am going around this morning to pick them up. That is really a WOW price. The price does not include the "screw on" ends. They also sell 10 or 15mm screw on extension pieces for applications where the one strut is too short and the next one is too long.
Three years ago I wanted a one meter long heavy duty shock (25mm diameter) like that for my trailer lid. The price including vat was just short of R145....
