2014 Honda Accord 3.5 V6
The biggest Accord to make it to our shores. The biggest engine derivative too. This amazing vehicle doesn't just offer great space for the family, but also plenty of power without worrying about fuel consumption. Honda brought these in between 2014 and 2016. They are very rare, but wonderful. Got all the equipment you could imagine. Both keys available for Driver one and two.
Blindspot camera which is unique to this vehicle. Honda calls it lane watch.
This is what we got with the car.
Around town: Between 9.2 and 9.6 Worst we recorded was 10.6 this is Litres per 100km
Combined: 7.5 Litres per 100km
Open road: 5.8 Litres per 100km worst was 6.4 Litres per 100km
This was our rocket ship. Long roads was a breeze.
It wasn't an easy decision, so sad to have to let her go.
Power: 207 KW
Torque : 336 NM
Immaculate condition.
Very well cared for. Still balance of service plan.
Odo as of now: 54 000km (Vehicle is in daily use)
Extras fitted:
Towbar
Sport lip spoiler
LED scuff plates (OEM Blue)
A month ago we replaced the battery! Varta
Price: R335 000

Man, that is an awesome car! I had the previous Accord, and loved the comfort, but hated the lack of power, this must be brilliant.

Re: 2014 Honda Accord 3.5 V6
Graham,
I had the 7th gen before this which is the 9th gen with the 2.4 K24 DOHC VTEC motor the power was good enough. You just had to go get it like any other vtec on top. This vehicle is something different. Its the American Accord as the Euro Accord was stopped all over the world and Honda decided to do one Accord only which was the American one.
The comfort is amazing. Space is great!!! When it comes to that amazing Earth Dreams motor underneath the bonnet. Well it is amazing. Power is not an issue at all anymore. Power is there from the get go. From low down no hassle.
And when driven normally its light on fuel for what it is. In fact it is about the same as what we got in our 1.5 i-VTEC Ballade.
Anyway.....sad to see her go when she goes....

Re: 2014 Honda Accord 3.5 V6
Yip, all it needed was to rev.
I have the CRV 2.4 at the moment, and dont seem to mind the lack of power in it, the accord just felt like it should be faster, whereas in the CRV I have a very relaxed driving style.
This advert is dangerous for me being a Honda fan of note.

Re: 2014 Honda Accord 3.5 V6
HAHAHA.....
Yes, when I heard there is a possibility of the 3.5 V6 coming here I was over the moon. And luckily I was able to get it and boy what a car.....also a major Honda fan. But lately them only bringing in CVT boxes they have lost me........
I just cant get use to that.
