May I ask how much you had to pay in the end?
Even a rough figure would be interesting.

Re: Turbo for 4.5l
You may always ask.
There were a couple of things wrong with mine that had to be fixed as well, so my price won't be accurate to work on, but let's just say you would probably spend more than R80k (depending on the condition of your vehicle this could even be more than R100k) if you want it done right (including labour). Doing it cheaper is possible, but I would advise against it. List of things done on mine so far (engine only):
As previously stated, if you compare the cost of the conversion against the cost of the vehicle only, it seems rather absurd. However if you add the two together (because the 4.5 is very cheap to buy) you still end up with a monster of a vehicle for roughly R200k.
PS: Can anyone explain to me exactly how these bullets work, because I just can't seem to figure it out?

- New conrods
New injectors
New injector rail
Turbo
Intercooler
Viper exhaust system
New air filter
Viscous coupling
New Spitronics ECU
Complete servicing and repair of engine and accessories
LOTS of fiddling with the waste gate (The turbo actually worked too well and apparently it was a female dog to get it under control.)
High pressure fuel pump
Tuning
A couple of other things I cannot remember right now.
Also done later:
Clutch
Planned future mods:
Upgraded cooling

Regarding the bullets:-
- For text here on the forum, you have to click on the "bullet" button for each line
- But for firearm bullets, that is a whole different story

Re: Turbo for 4.5l
Ok sure. Luckily those are not the kind of bullets needed.
The spacing however seems off? Is there a way to do bullets without having them look like separate paragraphs?
As you can tell, I'm a little CDO. It's like OCD except the letters are in alphabetical order... like they should be.

I also battle with the OCD thing a little. For example, I cannot adequately explain how this specific plumber's truck broke me in the traffic a while ago...XenoBlitz wrote: ↑01 Apr 2019 12:04 Ok sure. Luckily those are not the kind of bullets needed.
