Thanks Biggles. After chatting to you I will use the same setup. Currently Looking for pannels and a controller.

The flex pannels on the roof could work for future improvements.

Just 1 question - where did you mount your controller?

My controller is a loose unit. I have about a foot of cable in the input and output side and plug the panels into one end and into the caravan on the other. Or if I need to charge the car I just plug it in to the patrol.
